Eglar Goes to an Indoor Water Park!

Eglar and Gordo are off on another whirlwind adventure!
This time they go to Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky, Ohio!



Eglar plays it safe on the way there and buckles up...

Gordo was too small for a seat-belt, so he hopped up onto the clothes hook.

They soon forget about their safety issues though and start racking up charges on my cell phone...

They soon passed a point of interest in Sandusky, The Screaming Monkey Jamaican Restaurant!

And of course what would an Eglar adventure be without a random picture of a fellow motorist on the great superhighways of America!

Unfortunately I never did get a picture of the entrance to the lodge, it was pretty swanky! But here is a picture of the sign from the hotel room.

...and another. It was pretty big.

And equally as blurry picture of the water park. Makes me want to get a new camera.

But here on the other hand was a good picture.

Eglar tries out the rock climbing wall... Don't fall! He snuck on when there was no lifeguard supervising...

Then he slam dunked a few balls in the pool!

After a few hours we headed out for dinner, far in the distance you can see the Bob Evans sign

Eglar got a burger and cole slaw. The people at the restaraunt gave him fries even though he didn't order them.

After dinner, we went back to the hotel room, and hung out for awhile and watched tv, but soon thereafter it was bedtime

Then morning of course. We had some breakfast and went back to the water park.

You can't see it because it was too far away, but Eglar climbed up on top of the big bucket of water. Nearly as soon as he got to the top the bucket tipped and he fell off. He better watch it or the lifeguard may get mad, hehe

After the fall he took it easy and just used the baby slide for awhile

After a few more hours we had to leave, I would have gotten pics of Eglar on the big water slides, but theres no safe way to smuggle a camera onto them. Anyhow, we went to dinner, and Eglar got a spud-free meal this time.

After dinner we head home. Eglar buckles up, but then we remember...

We left Gordo the whole time!! Since mute lobsters can't unbuckle themselves, or make audible noise, we forgot he was up there, and he missed out on the whole adventure!

On the way home Eglar saw this little car thing and jumped out the window onto it for a picture. It was sweet!

And what would a vacation be without turn-pike tolls... and pictures of the toll boothe people!

We are pleased to introduce to you the 1 and only Barry Lazlos!

Gordo is in trouble, oh no!

And so ends Eglar's Indoor Water Park Adventure!

Eglar spent the weekend of March 3rd on vacation at Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky Ohio, and enjoyed hours of indoor water park excitement. He brought along his pet lobster, Gordo, too!
