Eglar's Great Kentucky Adventure!

Well, here we go. Prepare for alot of load time if your not on DSL/Cable or better :)

We had to leave at like 8 in the morning, so our first task was to wake up Eglar. We started at about 6:45, and didn't get him up till...

7:29 AM... Poor Eglar, he doesn't normally get up till like... 2:00 PM or thereabouts

But Eglar quickly overcomes his sleepiness by blasting some heavy guitars in his ears. Unfortunately I slept most of the time, so we didn't get any more pictures

In Cincinnati Ohio, about 3.5 hours into our drive, we stop for lunch at Big Boys. Eglar got a fish sandwhich and cole slaw

After lunch we stretch out around a lake for a rest before we get back in the car and do more driving

Then we saw these hippy rednecks ( sorry if thats you :-) )

And then of course you never, get to see a man in suspenders on a motor cycle, so I took a picture of him

Just got to Kancackee Lake State Park (or however you spell that 'K' word)

After we got set up...

We started a fire

Eglar entertains himself by reading a HVAC Contractors catalog (booooring)

And then my dad pulls out the old wind up radio... Kentucky has like NO decent radio stations... so we listened to classical for about 30 seconds and turned it off

Then for no reason Eglar took a picture of that guy... haha

Then we took down the camper and got ready to do some more drivin'...

Driving past some little country-ish town... That area was terrible... Huge winding roads...

And some more driving!

Suddenly we are at the Kentucky State Horse park... well no, but I forgot to take a picture of the sign at the beginning of the park

Eglar cooks up some Portable Maruchan in a cup, and stuffs his face... That stuffs good good good... *Adam wishes he could make some now*

This must be a Kentucky Skateboarder or somthing...

Eglar informed me we didnt have much action in the adventure yet so he told me to spice things up a bit, so I made a really bad face... Enjoy lol

Here we are at the enterance to the Kentucky State Horse Park museum/show area

These people rocked, I want that plate!

Eglar stalls us because he needs a bathroom break, so we wait about 20 minutes and then continue on..

Eglar sneaks onto the race track, we have no clue if we were allowed or not, but hey!

Then he just like... goofs off in the flower beds, I dont have any idea why

Ewww... Unsophisticated horses!

Then we walked through some stables (smelly)

Since they had to close we go back to the camp site and make some dinner... MMMMMMmmm Pig Flesh!

Then of course Eglar has to brush his teeth before bed... Wait... what teeth!

Breakfast... Eggs and toast!

Then my dad runs off to the John for his morning potty break...

Then Eglar climbs a tree but falls out... See the whole thing in live motion in the video adventure! (not available at the current time, Sorry)

Then we went back to that horse park museum thing. Eglar is attacking vilagers in a display... its blurry cause I didn't use a flash, sorry.

So sad, cause 'ole Abe, was so cool... :(

Then Eglar rides a tour of the park, before this, I walked into a hose handle, and sprayed my butt, so I was all wet -_-

Here's the horses that worked their rumps off dragging us all over the ranch

Then we watched a show of all the retired race/show horses they had at the parl, this one is Gypsy Supreme, a famouse show horse...

And heres, Cigar, a famous race horse, we also saw a few others, but I didn't take any pictures.

Then we go back to the park, Eglar goes to the pool...

But the water was pretty cold, so Eglar just suns himself.

This dude was cool, he was jamming some heavy metal on his guitar in his tent.

Eglar just ordered a salad, because he wasn't very hungry, but I ordered salad, and a huge cheeseburger, yummo...

Then we went to Wal Mart for some food or somthing, can't rememeber

Ah, yes, we needed charcoal, my dad's carrying it...

Mor epictures of random people for no reason, har har...

Later Eglar plays games on my dads cell phone, like bowling and stuff...

The next day he eats Oatmeal Cream Pies for breakfast...

On the road again, this time to Natural Bridge in Kentucky...

Eglar got a tad worried when the forest fire danger sign was in between Moderate and Extreme lol...

Hiking...

While hiking we see a cool rock formation...

But the Natural Bridge was alot cooler!

Then we start heading down to Cumberland Falls, and we have to go through thise freaky 1 lane tunnel. That was really cool

But then... Somthing happens to the camper! It was smoking like crazy!!

Can't see the smoke too well, because I couldn't get the camera out in time.

This dude thought we were on fire, so he stopped behind us

He sent us to this Chevron gas station in this littel country Ghetto to ask where to go to get our camper fixed

We went to Machester Welding to see if they could weld together the Leaf Spring that popped on the camper (it holds the camper on the frame)

Then we go to a Best Western to spend the night. They are going to fix it in the morning after my dad gets the part...

But as Sponge Bob re-runs play in the background Eglar wonders how this happened... Coming home from Colombus in a previous adventure, Eglar heard a metal snap sound and a metally bouncing down the road type sound... Eglar wonders if The Decimator could have been behind this for revenge...

The next day we check up on the camper and get directions to the Trailer sales place that has the spring we need...

Poor camper...

Eglar got the spring!!

Across the street from Manchester Welding... Thats about the basic house that everyone around that area has

Soo ghetto...

While they repair the camper we went to McDonalds to entertain ourselves for 2 hours... not much entertainment...

But then after about an hour we have lunch... Turkey sandwhiches and pop...

Back at that ghetto welding shop!

They fixed it!!!

Then we head to Cumberland Falls State Park

This place was pretty much built on a cliff...

Then we go to the falls...

Not so spectacular looking in pictures, but it was really cool in person. They are the second largest waterfalls in North America...

Then we go back and make a fire...

The next day Eglar has breakfast, eggs and bacon and stuff...

Don't know why I took this picture, but ayhow thats our campsite...

This picture is in memorial to the man who crashed and died while driving somewhere outside the campground that day...

Now we are on the way to Atlanta to see Chuckie again..

We go to Cracker Barrel in Tennessee for lunch... I'm getting hungry typing about all these restaraunts and food and stuff...

Before the concert the next day, we go back to Stone Mountain in Georgia, just like we did 1 year ago... But this time we take the skylift to the top, so Eglar's in line for that...

Then we saw this savage guy in the old west remake town at Stone Mountain... Totally cool voice and he picked on his Banjee! Haha!

Heading to Chuckies Concert

Heres where the concert was... We ate dinner and went swimming...

Eglar got to go back-stage with Chuckie...

On the way back to Chuckies...

But first we stop at McDonalds to get some...Milkshakes!

The next day Eglar takes advantage of the last few minutes of civilization before heading back towards Ohio...

On the way back up to Kentucky, we saw these doods, so I took a pic of them... lol

Then we went to McDonalds again, and unfortunately I didn't get any pictures, because we were sliding down McDonalds slides on the food trays (Really REALLY fast!)

Wherever this was it was cool because they have red signs...

This trucker was so funny looking! LOL His lips were all stuck out and his tongue was over his upper lip for like... the 2 hours we drove next to him...

Back at that horse park, because it was on the way home and the campground was pretty nice

As we unpacked Eglar got smashed under a few bags... Poor Eglar...

After that mis hap, Eglar calls up Sleek

And then he has a Maruchan dinner... (I'm hungry again)

Then we have a fire for awhile and go to bed...

The next day we went to the pool again, it was alot warmer this time so Eglar went swimming...

But then he totally dunked me, because he didn't want me in the advanture anymore :( So grumpy!

Then he got some sun again

Then... after the pool, this dude rode his motor-cycle through a sign!!! It was so hilarious, he lost control and drove straight through the sign, he broke it all apart, and got bushes/shrubs caught in his tires... After he hit the sign he honked his horn like he was attracting attention to himself... But the best thing is, is that he was showing off to a golf cart-full of people when this happened!

Here we are at Bob Evans... Eglar is lookin' through the menu...

Then he reads the kids menu... here's a high res picture of it... Eglar is appalled at it!

So he heads back to the car without eating... he didn't want to eat at a restaraunt like that!

Then he climbs a tree before we leave...

Driving home...

And the final site we saw was Cincinnati's skyline...

And so ends Eglar's GREAT Kentucky adventure!

Well, here it is, Eglar's one huge Adventure for the year 2005. Though some of the adventures are long as it is, this is probably the longest we will have in 2005 until we have another big vacation or somthing like that. Anyhow, Eglar tours more of the eastern United States, through Kentucky, Tennesee, and Georgia, seeing some beautiful natural sites, and... Stuff. Anyhow. READ IT!
